Islandport Press wins Barnes and Noble "Focus on New England" Award for outstanding regional literature
The award honors an author or publisher who has significantly contributed to literature promoting New England. This is the fourth year that Barnes and Noble has presented the award, which was presented to Islandport publisher Dean Lunt at the Barnes and Noble store in Augusta on October 15 by Maddie Hjulstrom, regional community relations manager.

"Islandport Press has been a strong partner to our New England stores, always providing quality titles and great customer service," said Hjulstrom. "Our booksellers are very pleased to recognize Islandport Press with the 2009 Focus on New England Award. We look forward to continuing to work with Islandport Press to promote titles that celebrate the culture, beauty and history of New England."
