These are paid hourly positions with set, but somewhat flexible schedules.

Our interns typically work 24 to 30 hours a week from mid-June to mid-August. We give preference to college students entering their senior year, but we also consider recent post-graduates as well as younger college students.

Interns at Islandport Press will work in all areas of a small publishing house. Duties include, but are not limited to editing, manuscript evaluation, data entry, marketing, social media, research, writing, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Application deadline is April 12, 2024.  We make a final hiring decision by early May.
