MEET THE MAINERS
As stewards of Maine stories, we wouldn't exist without the folks that conceive of them. Whether they are dreaming up a world of their own, retelling powerful truths, weaving together simple yet powerful life lessons, or paving new pathways of knowledge and thinking — our team of writers, illustrators and editors work tirelessly to elevate Maine literature.
Islandport Press is a small team based in Yarmouth, Maine. We rely on a network of editors, writers, proofreaders, illustrators and designers to create beautiful books that go the distance. You can read more about our core staff here. We are not currently hiring, but if you are based in Maine or New England, or have a strong connection to Maine culture and are interested in connecting with Islandport Press as a freelancer, feel free to drop us a line with your resume and a short cover letter.
